TGIF

时间过的飞快,一周又过去了,而我还是什么都做不了,唯有等等等。。。很讨厌这种命运掌握在别人手中的感觉,好像所有的事都必须因此被耽搁,无法计划任何事,因为充满了许多未知的变数,还有,每当空闲下来的时候,就会开始觉得很有压迫感,沮丧,烦躁。。。每次家人问起事情怎么了,也只能给他们同样的回答--等!真的好烦吖~

在家里工作(working from home),其实没大家想像中的那么好。一天两天,你可能还不怎么觉得,可是超过3天,你就会开始觉得很 depress,很有距离感,很陌生,根本不知道外面发生了什么事。有时,甚至晒不到太阳,也呼吸不到新鲜空气,因为一整天都在忙,连吃饭喝水上厕所的时间都没有,连续好几个小时维持同样的坐姿,感觉好像自闭儿一样~不过也许是因为如此,有一天中午,我光着脚走在后院的石地砖上,脚底冰冰凉凉的,那天的阳光特别的温和舒服,空气特别的新鲜,微风徐徐吹来,真的特别有感触!大自然真的是有种很奇妙的魔力,可以让人放松神经,心情也跟着开朗起来。还有,我还快快乐乐的做起了暖身操呐(^o^)

今天呢,除了一如既往的忙碌工作,还发生了一桩小插曲。下午四五点钟,有人来按门铃,开了门发现是at&t的推销员两枚。他们看到我第一句话就是,“Is your parent home?” 虽然预料之中,可是还是觉得无奈,迟疑了一下子,只好说跟他们说只有我一个人在家。也许是我的迟疑让他们吓到了,其中一个男生就忽然满脸惊吓的问了一句“Don't tell me you are the home owner!” 我只好说我不是,房子是我哥的。接着好笑的事情发生了,他们好奇的问了我的年龄,我就回答说“I'm 20-ish...”(因为觉得没必要跟他们详细交代嘛)。那两个人一脸狐疑的望着我,这时候我体内的恶作剧因子活跃了起来,我就改口说“...nah, I'm 16 actually...” 我一改口,这两个人马上就相信我了,可能他们觉得16岁比较合理吧,真是让我觉得又好气又好笑~我觉得美国人真的很好骗,明明你跟他说实话,他还怀疑你,非要人家说谎话才甘心。不过后来,我还是有告诉他们真相啦,他们一脸被欺骗受伤又惊讶的模样真的是很傻很天真,可爱极了!

收工后,当然就是晚餐时间啦,因为是home alone加上不能开车,可又不想连续三餐都吃剩饭剩菜,只好自己下厨啦。今晚呢,就吃西餐咯,因为比较快也简单嘛!今天做的是—Baked Salmon & Vegetables topped with Lingo Berry Sauce— 其实呢,这是我第一次做烤三文鱼,除了知道我需要三文鱼之外,其他的全都是问号一大堆,上网找食谱,唯一有用的就是烤箱温度和烹煮时间(P.S/我真的跟烤箱很不熟,这是我第三次用烤箱 ,手忙脚乱的@—@)因为食谱上的材料和调味料,我家都没有。所以最后决定自由发挥啦:-

Preparations
Part 1: Baked Salmon & Vegetables 烤三文鱼/蔬菜

Ingredients 材料: 
Salmon fish steak, broccoli, carrot, squash, butter, salt & garlic powder, frozen Mojito

Instructions 步骤:
1. Clean and wipe the fish with paper towel. Make sure the fish is NOT in wet condition.
2. Marinate the fish with Salt & Garlic Powder, spread evenly on both side.
3. Cut the vegetables into slices. Precook the veggies in boiled water to soften the veggies. Dry the veggies and leave it aside.
4. Preheat the oven to Bake at 350 F for 8 minutes. Leave butter on the baked pan to melt evenly.
5. Next, place the veggies on the surface of the buttered pan, add the Salt & Garlic evenly to the veggies.
6. Place the salmon steak on top of the veggies. Then, cover the fish steak with frozen Mojito.
7. Start to Bake for 20 minutes, then maintain temperature at 350 F, set to Broil for 2 1/2 minutes for each side of the fish.

Part 2: Lingonberry Sauce 越橘酱汁
Lingonberry Sauce

Ingredients 材料:
Lingonberry jam, salt, onion, garlic, butter, frozen Mojito

Instructions 步骤:
1. Cut the onion and garlic into tiny cubes.
2. Heat the small pot (make sure you are on low heat, if the pot is too hot, the butter will turn into dark color immediately when you drop it), then drop butter cube into the low heated pot.
3. Put onion and garlic in. Add some salt, stir fry it until it turns yellowish/gold color.
4. Add the lingonberry sauce and mix it well. Then, add the frozen Mojito to the pot and let it simmer for  3~5 minutes.

Final presentation/Plating: 
上菜咯~

Tasting time: 
熟成度刚刚好!就是味道偏甜了些,检讨中...
调酒饮料: Cherry Vanilla Cream soda + frozen Mojito
                            
好啦,今天就到这里吧~我去睡觉了,明天日本餐在等着我呢,哟呼!
